Ireland: For Stamp 1G holders seeking an extension on job search visa

Everything you need to know about Stamp 1G extension Ireland

According to the latest article published by  The Times “Students who are studying in Ireland may get visa extension due to the pandemic”. More than 16,800 people are on a Stamp 1G or graduate work visa as published by the RTÉ.  This good news has created a positive environment for students as now they can find suitable jobs and can stay longer in the country.

The globally hit pandemic has lowered the chances and opportunities for students who came to Ireland in search of a better future. Closing the gap for longer stays has become a major problem among international students. Many students have ended up working on low profile jobs as many companies were hiring fewer candidates.

After spending a hefty amount of tuition fees and other living costs it gives a shallow hope to the students about their career and further stays in the country. Students deserve a reopening of the Irish economy to make their space for a longer time.

Important key points so far:

The stamp 1G immigration extension will be granted by the department on an individual basis for which students need to show their best and genuine interest to look for suitable jobs and go through the employment process by sitting in the interview. Individuals need to register with employment agencies.

In order to live in Ireland, students need to show their keen interest in why, how, where they want to live.
