Eligibility for undergraduate courses to study in Germany

  • To get admission to German Institutes the merit can go as high as 80-90% in 10+2.
  • English proficiency scores are required in the exams like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc. There is a specific score band that is asked by the university or institute you are applying to. It is suggested to know your score band before you make the final submission of your application.
  • To be eligible to study in Germany for a UG program, students must have completed the first year of their UG course in India or passed the IIT JEE or FA.

Eligibility for Postgraduate courses to study in Germany

There is a list of documents that one needs to submit in order to take admission in master’s courses. 

  • As per the university requirements, English or German proficiency is required with a certain band score. 
  • Students need to attain at least 70-75% scores in their bachelor’s degree to take admission. If students are supervised to take the GRE then a score above 300 is required. 

English Language Proficiency requirement:

  • IELTS – 5-6.5 score based on the university you have applied to.
  • TOEFL – for PBT test (550 score), for CBT test (213 score), for IBT test (70-80 score).
