Scholarships to study in NCI for international students

There are numerous scholarships that the National college of Ireland offers which are listed below:

  • Undergrad Scholarships – this scholarship is for the students who are enrolled in a full-time course at the undergraduate level. Around EUR 2000 scholarships are awarded in this. 
  • Masters Scholarship – this scholarship is applicable for the students who are enrolled in a master’s course. In this type of scholarship students are not required to submit a scholarship application. Based on the merit scholars a scholarship of EUR 2000 to EUR 4000 is awarded. 
  • Master’s Edge Scholarship – the NCI offers a scholarship which is 50% to all undergraduate students. You must apply for this application before early August.
  • Higher Diploma scholarship – Students who are enrolled in a higher diploma in science or computing courses are eligible for this scholarship. It amounts to EUR 4000 scholarships for which they have to submit an application form. 
  • Women in business Scholarship – this scholarship waives 50% tuition fees for female candidates who wish to study a master’s course at school of Business in NCI. 
  • Entrepreneurship scholarship – this is for the students who are enrolled in MSc in Entrepreneurship course at NCI. Almost 50% of the fees are waived. Also, this is applicable for students who are scheduled to start the course in September. 
  • Future Leaders Scholarship – Tuition fee is waived up to 50% in this scholarship for those who want to start master’s courses starting in September. Students are required to submit the scholarship to avail of benefits. 

When do admissions start in NCI?

The university has two intakes every year: September and January. To apply for September intake students are required to submit applications till late July and for January intake submit applications by early December.

Eligibility for international students for NCI

In order to qualify for a seat in the National college of Ireland student needs to have the following eligibility mentioned below:

For undergraduate courses

  • High school percentage up to 60-70%.
  • English proficiency score of IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE.
  • Academic transcripts
  • Proof of funds
  • A valid passport
  • A copy of Resume/CV

For master’s courses

  • A bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 2.2 from a recognized institution.
  • Academic transcript
  • Original academic certificates
  • Proof of English proficiency in exams like TOEFL, IELTS, and PTE.

  • Proof of funds
  • A copy of resume/CV
  • Work experience, if required.
